I do not charge for book reviews at this time<\/span>. However, please read this whole section before submitting a request!<\/h3>\n

  1. Genres I won\u2019t<\/strong><\/span> review include erotica, historical fiction, horror. Only the rare nonfiction catches my attention for reading\/reviewing. Also, please don\u2019t send me books whose plots push sexism, racism, genderism, or other -isms that demean or belittle whole groups of people.<\/li>\n
  2. Please be patient. In addition to my day job, I am also a writer. I\u2019ll take books as they catch my interest, but it may be a while before I can get to your book and write your review.<\/li>\n
  3. Do note that if I can\u2019t connect to the book or care about its characters, I may not write a review at all. If I DNF it, I won\u2019t write any review (caveat: if you send me an -ism book after I\u2019ve asked you not to do so, I may break this rule). The fact that I didn\u2019t like it may have nothing to do with the quality of your writing or the story itself; it may just mean I am not your target audience. I don\u2019t want to cast shade on another writer\u2019s hard work.<\/li>\n
  4. Don\u2019t ask or expect me to give you a good review simply because we are both writers<\/span>. I want people who read my reviews to trust that they are my honest opinion; therefore, that<\/span> is what I will post. See rule #3.<\/li>\n
  5. I post reviews on my website, Amazon, Goodreads, LibraryThing, and BookBub. If you want me to post it elsewhere, please ask. I\u2019ll try to accommodate.<\/li>\n
  6. My ratings will be pretty standard.

  9. Once I\u2019ve requested your book, I only accept ebook formats<\/span>. Ideally, I\u2019d like to review ebooks that are on Kindle Unlimited since that allows me to support you while I\u2019m reading. Otherwise, I would prefer an ebook review copy. Physical books that make it to my door will be donated unread to local free libraries.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
