Drema Deòraich is an award-winning author of character-driven speculative fiction that sometimes asks big questions. While she always has multiple projects in the works, Drema’s current front-burner manuscript is The Way In, Book 1 of The Nexus, a trilogy that takes place in The Founder’s Seed Universe, and follows directly after Driven, book 3 of the TFS trilogy.
Drema’s short stories have been published in numerous online journals, as well as a few semi-professional zines. Her two novelettes, “Deer in Headlights” and “Jane Doe #7,” are undergoing new cover designs, and will be re-released soon.
On occasion, Drema blogs about writing, ideas from Life that inspire her, environmental issues, ways to live more sustainably, and whatever else captures her fancy.

CapClave is a small, relaxed, literary convention where reading is not extinct and dodo pictures are forever. There will be readings, discussions with authors and fans, exhibits, space science presetations, and much more. Also? I’ll be a guest at this one!
11/14/26 ~ Author Space Book & Arts Festival, The Showplace Arena, 14900 Pennsylvania Avenue, Upper Marlboro, Maryland. A fun, in-person celebration of stories and awesome writers! This will be a new event for me, but it promises to be BIG. Author panels, guest speakers, storytelling, live musical performances, exhibits, book signings and giveaways, and much more.
12/5-6/26 ~ Annual Fair Trade Festival (location to be announced). This is always a fun event, where all the many vendors (selling wares from soaps to chocolate to jewelry and clothing to books) work in support of sustainability and Fair Trade. I’ve done this several years in a row, and always have a great time.
1/15-17/27 ~ MarsCon, Holiday Inn Virginia Beach-Norfolk, 5655 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia
