If you read my post from last week, you’ll know (or at least suspect) that I’m a Pitch Wars hopeful this year. Since the submission window opens in SEVEN DAYS, I’m not doing anything else but shining up my work-in-progress. That means I don’t have a long, witty or educational post for you today. I might not have one next Monday either, depending on my progress.
But I do promise that once the Pitch Wars submission rush is over, I’ll be back in the saddle and posting on a weekly basis.
Note: If I am selected, my (and therefore Bobby’s) life for the next four-five months will consist of writing, revising, editing, more revising, more reading and cutting, and on and on until the MS is shiny and ready to appear in the agent showcase in February. There will be little time for anything else between now and then. If I miss a post or a review, or if I don’t post links every week, that’s why.
I will not be alone in this mad dash to be chosen; dozens of other amazing writers will be querying the very same mentor potentials alongside me, and each mentor picks only ONE mentee. Competition will be fierce.
It’s a lot of hard work, but I’m up for it. Wish me luck.
